St Helena’s travel connection is served by Airlink, with weekly flights from OR Tambo International Airport, in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The flight to and from St Helena takes place on Saturdays. The exception to this is the monthly shuttle service to Ascension, where the Johannesburg, St Helena, Ascension route is flown on the Saturday, and the reverse return route is on the Sunday.

The aircraft used for the service is the Embraer E190 type, with passenger capacity of 98, operated by Airlink.
